A SEEKER AFTER YOU, I AM (Nuri Granth – Vol. III - Page 2035)

A seeker after you I am, and athirst for you I am:
And I seek you among the people of Brindaban!

Gone where is Kanaiya Kan?
Where is His flute and where be His abode of grace?

Where is His melody? And where are His miracles?
Gone where is the Prince of my life?

Gone where is the Beloved of my life breaths?
Gone where is the guiding star of my life?

The Gopis and the cowherd boys are only weeping for Him,
Even I am wandering here and there, like a deranged being!

I search in each street,
And I go from door to door, calling out for Him!

Poor and distressed Nuri Nimani,
Wanders desolately on the bank of the river Indus!
